I'm not a coffee drinker and I prefer a good hot cocoa over tea. Over the years I've perfected my favorite cup of hot chocolate libation and I'd like to share the recipe with you. Find the largest mug you have and get ready for a chocolaty treat.
Ingredients
Microwavable mug that holds at least 16oz of fluid without overflowing (Make sure there's enough room to add the chocolate).
13oz of your favorite milk (Mine is whole milk for that full creaminess).
1 packet of regular Swiss Miss Chocolate Milk (Rich Milk Chocolate is better).
Hershey chocolate syrup (Preferably in the plastic bottle unless you're like my dad who still would get the tin can).
Choose Libation Option: Vanilla Hot Chocolate = 1-2oz Vanilla Vodka | Almond Hot Chocolate = 1oz Vanilla Hot Chocolate and 1oz Amaretto | Irish Hot Chocolate = 1oz Jameson | Irish Cream Hot Chocolate = 1oz Jameson and 1oz Baileys
Optional: Mini Marshmallows.
Stirring stick or spoon.
Instructions
Pour milk in mug.
Heat in microwave for at least 2 minutes (2 minutes for ready to drink temperature).
Add chosen liqueur.
Add Swiss Miss packet.
Pour approximately 3 seconds worth of Hershey chocolate syrup.
Stir contents until fully dissolved.
Optional: Add marshmallows.
Enjoy.
